The new Universal theme park set to come to the UK will even get its very own train station.
Located in Kempston Hardwick, near Bedford, the resort is expected to span 476 acres on Broadmead Farm and will boast a 500-room hotel as well as a retail and entertainment complex alongside the ride.
The park is scheduled to open its gates in 2031.
As the plans progress and work starts on Universal Studios Bedford, proposals for a new railway station are being explored.
The train hub could be built in Stewartby and will form part of the East West Rail (EWR) line.
A report about the proposals by EWR explains why the company decided a completely new train station would be better sustainably.
It reads: ‘Given Universal’s proposals are still emerging, we’re working with them and other stakeholders to determine the design and exact position of the station.
‘We would like to provide reassurance that as we progress this work, we are focused on not just integrating the design for this station with the wider development proposals but also maintaining access to the strategic road network and local destinations including Kimberley Sixth Form College and Stewartby.’

The new line, part of the EWR line project, hopes to connect Oxford to Cambridge and provide links via Milton Keynes and Bedford.
It is estimated that the entire project could cost between £5.1 billion and £6.06 billion, according to the BBC.
David Hughes, CEO of East West Railway Company, said: These updates reflect our commitment to listening to communities while designing a railway that delivers long-term benefits for the region.
‘Our latest proposals better reflect what matters most to people and will deliver better outcomes for passengers, local communities and the environment.
‘From a new station at Cambridge East to better access in Oxford and clear alignment through Tempsford, East West Rail is shaping the modern, sustainable transport link this region needs to thrive.’
The project could see the proposed frequency of trains increase from three or four to up to five per hour.
New station entrances at Bletchley, Cambridge and Bedford have been confirmed and four brand-new stations are set to be introduced along the Marston Vale Line.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Universal Destinations and Experiences said: ‘[The] government’s commitment in furthering multi-modal opportunities to grow the UK’s economy is highly encouraging, as companies like UDX look to place major investments in the UK.’
The new Universal theme park is set to add almost £50 billion to the economy by 2055.
Hordes are expected to flock to the resort, too, with over 8.5 million visitors estimated for its opening year.
