It comes as British Airways has revealed the top 10 most searched for summer destinations in its January sale.
The top five spots went to far-flung, bucket-list destinations: Dubai, Barbados, Orlando, New York and Cancun.
Close behind are Crete, Larnaca, Corfu, the Maldives and the Algarve.
And for those looking to book their next trip, from today (January 8) to January 13, British Airways Holidays customers can benefit from additional savings up to an extra £300 per booking.
In addition to the sale price of holiday packages, the discounts include an extra £300 off with a minimum spend of £10,000 on a flight and hotel booking.
Customers can receive a £200 extra discount with a minimum spend of £5,000 on a flight and hotel booking.
For holidaymakers who spend a minimum of £2,500 on a flight and hotel or flight and car booking, they will receive an extra £100 discount.

There is also a £50 extra discount for travellers who spend a minimum of £1,250 on a flight, hotel or flight and car booking and £25 with a minimum spend of £625 on a flight and car booking.
And the savings don’t end there.
Fancy an all-inclusive trip to Dubai in March?
British Airways has an offer for seven nights, at the 4.5-star Doubletree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island from £1109 per person.
This includes economy return flights from London Heathrow Airport, one checked bag at 23kg per person and all-inclusive accommodation.
If white sand beaches in the Caribbean are more your bag, BA has an offer for seven nights at the four-star Radisson Aquatica Resort in March from £1199 per person.

Meanwhile, in September 2026, seven nights in Orlando at the five-star Loews Portofino Bay Hotel will set you back £1499 per person.
