I never used to be the best packer – just the thought of deciding what to include in my luggage would send me up in a rash.
But, as deputy travel editor of the Daily Mail, I’m constantly jet-setting around the globe.
I holidayed in -35 degree temperatures in Finnish Lapland last month.
I’ll be honeymooning in the Caribbean next week, before heading to the Maldives in April, and Dublin the following month.
This globetrotting lifestyle has meant I’ve had no choice but to streamline my suitcase and get the packing list down to a tee.
But, from hair to skincare, there are specific beauty products I NEVER travel without.
This includes many that only come in giant bottles, so I always pack mini bottles to decant them into.
Here are the toiletries I pack in my wash bag for every trip abroad…

This travel bottle set has been an absolute gamechanger for me when it comes to travelling with hand luggage only.
The TSA-approved clear case comes with 17 containers, ranging in size, that you can decant all your lotions and potions in to using the included funnel.
It even comes with a brush for cleaning, as well as waterproof sticker labels so you don’t mix up your shampoo with your moisturiser!

Ever since I started using this moisturiser last year, my skin has felt so much more hydrated, so now I can’t go abroad without it.
It’s formulated with blue hyaluronic acid, a unique form of micro-sized hyaluronic acid, offering intense hydration for the skin.

I’ve been using this toner for years. It’s one of the only toners I’ve ever found that works for combination skin, limiting the over-production of sebum whilst also removing excess cleanser residue.
This floral fruity toner is created with a combination of Meadowsweet and Witch Hazel which work together to reduce shine, visible pores and brighten the skins complexion.

A roll-on deodorant is always a must on holiday, especially if you’re limited on your liquids in hand luggage.
This one from Dove smells great and is also kind on the skin.

I always pack a travel-sized toothpaste in my toiletry bag.
I love this one from Colgate as it keeps my teeth white and minty fresh.

I switched to a SURI toothbrush last year – and haven’t looked back.
It lasts more than a month at a time, when it comes to battery – and has two modes of advanced sonic cleaning, as well as a two-minute timer.
It also comes with a UV travel case, which kills 99.9% of bacteria.

I have been using Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish night and day for at least 10 years, so I always make sure to take the small size bottle away with me wherever I go – so I can take my makeup off.
The starter kit also comes with an exfoliating pure cotton cloth, which helps lift away dead skin for a smoother, brighter-looking glow.

If you have blonde hair, Olaplex No.4 is the best shampoo to use by a mile.
Ever since I switched to it, my hair has felt so much healthier. It’s definitely worth the money.

As someone who uses a lot of heat to style my hair, I always use a heat protection spray.
This mini one from Lee Stafford is great. The antioxidant-rich Green Tea helps protect from the sun, while Pro-Vitamin B5 helps improve softness and shine.

I’m extremely pale, and burn very easily, so a 50+ specifically for my face is necessary on sunny holidays.
While this is quite expensive, it’s my favourite SPF, as it makes my skin feel really nourished and hydrated, while also protecting it.
It never feels too oily on my face.

Sun cream is a must – and I often go straight to Boots for Soltan as it’s the most reasonable.
I rarely tan, but this sun cream actually does help me get even a slight colour, while still protecting me from the sun.

I’m someone who often gets bitten (even in the UK), so bug repellent is a must for me.
I always get the maximum strength, which are usually pretty vile when it comes to sprays – so this roll-on, containing 50 per cent DEET is excellent.

Bite spray never completely works so I always pack Anthisan too – for when I do actually get bitten.
I’ve never had anything work as well for me when it comes to relief.
