Inside the ‘world’s tiniest pub’ set to open in the UK – but for a limited time only

Pubs are typically cosy places packed full of people enjoy drinks with their friends and loved ones.

But there’s one that might be particularly snug.

Located in Flat Iron Square’s Yuletide Yard in London, The Jingle Bells Inn has been dubbed the world’s tiniest pub.

The small venue consists of festive green walls adorned with decorations – from big bows to Christmas garlands.

With a few wooden barstools and Camden Town Brewery pours on tap, the pub only has enough space for a few people inside at once.

Others hoping to experience the festive spot have to spill outside in the Yuletide Yard which has been transformed with lights and trees.

The Jingle Bells Inn will only be open until December 22, however, and visitors can book 45 minute slots.

The Yard will be full of festive entertainment this season with a Christmas Karaoke and even Michael Bublé tribute nights.

A Santa Speed Dating Quiz will also be held on November 25 and December 2, according to DesignMyNight.

Street food vendors will also be dotted around, including Dough who will serve pork and fennel sausage pizza with shredded Brussel sprouts.

Opa will offer a Christmas wrap with all the trimmings, meanwhile Flock will serve chicken tenders with potato rosti, cranberry sauce and picked red cabbage.

Several other venues have claimed the title of being the world’s smallest pub, including The Signal Box Inn in Cleethorpes.

It measures just 8ft by 8ft and was once a railway building, only becoming a pub in 2006.

Meanwhile, another small venue can be found in London.

Tucked away inside London’s Cannon Street railway station is The Sir John Hawkshaw – officially the smallest Wetherspoons in the country.

With just 41 tables, it’s a far cry from the sprawling pubs the chain is usually known for.

The venue is so tiny that there aren’t any restrooms, with customers having to dash across the concourse to use the station’s public toilets.

Opened in December 2014, the pub is named after engineer Sir John Hawkshaw, one of the co-designers behind the original 1866 station building.

The pint-sized pub still delivers classic Wetherspoons charm, including a mix of high tables and regular ones and one single copper-topped bar.

There’s even a veranda outside where you can sip your drink while watching commuters rush by – though, technically, you’re still inside the station.
