Once you’re there, dining out and enjoying a drink by the sea won’t break the bank either.

Pints under the sun come to just €2.75 (£2.40) and a three-course meal for two costs around €70 (£61.15).

Meanwhile, a morning coffee is €2.50 (£2.18), according to Numbeo.

Holidaymakers won’t be chilly when they’re enjoying the local food or sat outside with a cocktail either.

In March, the Canary Island sees average temperatures of around 19°C, but it can reach as high as 24°C.

Parque Natural de Corralejo is one of the sort’s top attractions on Tripadvisor, with over 10,000 reviews and an impressive 4.7 out of five rating.

The nature reserve covers a vast area of dunes, beaches and sea.

Many visitors praise the park’s gorgeous spaces and landscapes, one penned: ‘Beautiful place, immense, clean, boundless beaches, characteristic dunes, a charm.’

Another gushed over Corralejo in general and wrote: ‘In the town of Corralejo you have everything you need in hotels and restaurants.

‘The best is south of the village, a gigantic beach with fine golden sand with easy parking, to spend all day.

‘Across the road, there are the dunes, also huge. A place to come back and advise, the best of the island.’
