
The UK’s theme park of the year has been crowned – and it’s not what you might expect.
Paultons Park in Hampshire was voted best in the UK Theme Park Awards 2025.
It’s a family favourite – because it’s home to Peppa Pig World.
Paultons Park, which sits on 65 acres on the New Forest’s edge in Hampshire, is also home to Ghostly Manor – a £3.5 million ghoulish interactive gameplay ride.
As such, the theme park is popular with families, especially those with young children.
Paultons Park scooped up an impressive 10 awards in total.
Notably, the park’s Ghostly Manor won a gold award for Best New Attraction.
Also, Paultons Park won a gold award for Best Theme Park for Families, and Peppa Pig World won Best Theme Park for Toddlers.

The awards were organised by ThemeParks-UK.com, an independent consumer guide.
It combined 334,371 public votes with the scores from the judging panel to determine the winners in each category.
The biggest winners in the awards include Alton Towers and Drayton Manor in Staffordshire – with nine and six gongs respectively.
Other parks that racked up a number of awards were Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach in Lancashire with four and LEGOLAND Windsor in Berkshire with six.
Meanwhile, Chessington World of Adventures and Thorpe Park in Surrey won two and four awards respectively.
Lawrence Mancey, marketing and technology director at Paultons Park, said: ‘We are delighted to have been awarded 10 awards this year at the annual UK Theme Park Awards, including the prestigious Theme Park of the Year Award.
‘These awards are testament to the hard work and dedication of our whole team at Paultons.’
He added: ‘We’re looking forward to building on our success next year with the opening of our first inverting rollercoaster, Drakon, in our new immersive world Valgard: Realm of the Vikings opening May 2026.’

A Viking village, with shops and dining, will transport theme park goers back to the historical period when Scandinavia’s famous Norse warriors lived.
Some parks won awards for the first time this year.
Bottons Pleasure Beach in Lincolnshire, Drusillas Park in East Sussex, and Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire scooped up prizes.
Likewise, The Big Sheep in Devon won its first award.
