Brits wanting to avoid the wet and cold UK weather are in luck – there are plenty of winter sunshine destinations available for bargain prices.
Tunisia, the Canary Islands, Malta and Morocco all offer decent temperatures and are affordable.
New research has revealed the cheapest holiday spots for all-inclusive winter sun.
Hammamet, in Tunisia, is a characterful fishing village with a beautiful coastline and plenty of things to do.
It’s also the most-affordable destination, according to TravelSupermarket’s recent analysis.
A seven-night stay comes to just £328 per person and temperatures average at around 17 degrees.
Chief Travel Writer at TravelSupermarket Anna Hardy said: ‘With long golden beaches ideal for watersports, a medina packed with boutiques, and a historic fortress offering panoramic sea views, Hammamet delivers excellent value.
‘Four- and five-star all-inclusive hotels line the waterfront, many with private beaches and spas.’

Another Tunisian destination, Sousse, ranked second, with a seven-night holiday there coming to just £354 per person.
The city is home to a UNESCO-listed Medina and has the perfect balance of beaches, culture and history to enjoy.
Anna commented: ‘This cosmopolitan resort caters to every type of traveller.
‘History enthusiasts can explore ancient mosaics at the Archaeological Museum, shopaholics can bargain at the Medina Souk, while beach lovers can relax on the silky shores of Bou Jaafar.
‘When the sun sets, cocktail bars, beach lounges and dance clubs keep the energy going.’
Elsewhere, Morro Jable in Fuerteventura ranked third with an average price of £406 per person.
The sunny destination offers good weather too with temperatures reaching around 21 degrees.
Anna described how the ‘sunshine never stops’ at the popular spot where tourists can enjoy water sports and the Playa del Matorral’s golden sands.

Elsewhere, Morro Jable in Fuerteventura ranked third with an average price of £406 per person
St. Paul’s Bay in Malta followed closely in fourth place, with an average week’s stay costing £467 per person.
Temperatures are slightly lower but still warm at around 16 degrees and holidaymakers will benefit from fewer crowds during the winter months.
Anna said: ‘While sea swimming might be too chilly, sunny waterfront strolls are guaranteed, plus you can explore attractions like the Wignacourt Tower and Malta National Aquarium.
‘An excellent selection of all-inclusive hotels makes this destination great value.’
Located along Turkey’s southern Mediterranean coast, Side ranked fifth and is priced at around £519 per person.
The average high temperature comes to 17 degrees and there are plenty of luxurious resorts in the area to choose from.
Anna described the winter months as ‘prime sightseeing season’ and Side boasts several spots to explore.
From the Temple of Apollo to the nearby Manavgat Waterfall, tourists visiting soon will have lots to do and see.

Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife followed closely in sixth place, with a week stay coming to around £541 per person on average.
Lara, another Turkish destination, came seventh, promising average high temperatures of 17 degrees for just £559.
Holiday hotspot Benidorm, in Spain, ranked eighth, and tourists can enjoy a quieter version of the typically bustling location for around £562.
Belek, in Turkey, placed ninth, with an average cost of £595 per person, while Agadir in Morocco ranked tenth, costing £620.
