The UK is packed with impressive landmarks and structures to admire, but some look particularly great in the evening.
New research has revealed the most beautiful nighttime landmarks across the country.
A survey of 2,000 Brits found 69 per cent believe the nation’s famous sights look better at night compared to during the day.

London’s skyline, adorned with skyscrapers, impressive architecture and history, took the crown, according to the research commissioned by Samsung.
When asked what makes a location particularly beautiful after sunset, 16 per cent of respondents pointed to clear starry skies.
Meanwhile, 14 per cent admired reflections of lights on water, and 14 per cent liked the sense of stillness and fewer crowds nighttime brings.
Some 13 per cent favoured the evening glow of city lights and neon colours.
Edinburgh Castle ranked second. The castle is one of the oldest fortified sites in Europe and lights up each year for its Castle of Light event.
From November to January, the fortress is transformed by illuminations, installations and sounds.
Blackpool Illuminations, which first started back in 1879, ranked as the third most beautiful nighttime landmarks.
Nowadays, the illuminations are a spectacle enjoyed by three million visitors a year , all heading to the seaside town to see the light show which runs for six miles down the promenade.
Blackpool Illuminations runs from the end of August to November each year.

Clifton Suspension Bridge followed in fourth place and is a famous structure that stretches across the Avon Gorge in Bristol.
In the evening, the bridge is lit up by warm lighting that illuminates the impressive architecture.
Liverpool waterfront placed fifth and was followed by Conwy Castle in North Wales.
Elsewhere, the Angel of the North, Brighton Pier, Durham Cathedral and The Kelpies rounded off the top ten.
The research, commissioned to celebrate the launch of the Galaxy S26 Ultra which has enhanced Nightography video capabilities, also found 24 per cent of Brits have travelled somewhere specifically to photograph or experience it in the dark.
There was a strong interest in photographing scenes in the evening, with 46 per cent wanting to capture landscapes at dusk or night.
