With cobbled streets and old, characterful stone buildings, there’s a Yorkshire village that feels just like stepping into a film set.
Haworth has a rich history and draws in thousands of visitors a year.
Its links to the Brontë sisters, who grew up in Haworth Parsonage in the 19th century, only add to the village’s charm.
Travellers can even pop into The Original Brontë Stationery Store, where the sisters used to buy their writing paper.
Haworth, located in West Yorkshire, is home to dozens of independent shops, cafes and picturesque spots to explore.
What’s more, it has also been recently compared to Stars Hollow, the fictional town in popular show Gilmore Girls.
Stars Hollow is said to be inspired by various spots in Connecticut and features in the American comedy-drama.
For those who want to experience something similar to the Gilmore Girls’ set, Haworth is surrounded by beautiful Yorkshire countryside and is relatively easy to access.

The nearest train station is Keighley, which is a short bus journey away from the village, or there are several car parks available.
Recently, there have been several videos on social media urging people to visit Haworth this autumn because of its cosy spots and characterful streets.
One, posted by @lilyjbet, described Haworth as ‘England’s very own Stars Hollow’ and a ‘perfect autumn escape’.
She complimented the village for its intriguing shops and made sure to capture footage of the local area.
‘Haworth, a dreamy Yorkshire village, feels like stepping straight into Gilmore Girls — filled with cosy cafés, charming bookshops, and the sweetest little independent stores,’ she penned in the caption.
The video began with a view of the outside of a quirky shop, The Cabinet of Curiosity, which was decorated with pumpkins, brooms and leaves.
Elsewhere, the camera also showed a glimpse of cobbled paths overlooking rolling Yorkshire hills with eateries along the way.
An old fashioned sweet shop with jars of treats in the window appeared frozen in time, while the old post office and a traditional looking bakery also added charm.
