I visited Shimla in the month of January 2020 and it was after such a long time that I took a trip to a touristy place in Himachal Pradesh. Shimla is the capital city of Himachal Pradesh and it is also the largest city of Himachal. Shimla has been a very popular hill station in India especially among honeymoon couples and tourists.
Shimla holds a very special place even in India History. British had made Shimla their Summer Capital in 1864. They also made the first post office of North India in Shimla.
Shimla is one such places to visit near Delhi which you can visit any time of the year. It is a perfect hill station to visit during winters when you want to experience the snowfall.
It is also, the perfect place to be when you want to enjoy the pleasant cold breeze during the harsh summer of North India. I have covered Mall Road, places to eat, places to shop, places to visit in Shimla in this video.
