One of Spain’s most extravagant properties has come onto the market – and if you manage to find a spare €70million (£60million) down the back of the sofa, you could be in with a chance of owning it.
With 13 bedrooms, 16 bathrooms and a 22-metre pool – and built on a private plot of 14,000 sqm – Villa Bellagio in Marbella’s exclusive enclave of Sierra Blanca has come onto the market.
The sprawling residence, which is located in the ‘Beverly Hills of Marbella’ and was previously owned by British tycoon Joe Ricotta, boasts breathtaking panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean Sea.
It’s racked up many awards, including the prestigious ‘Premios Macael’ for Best Design in 2022, a distinction from King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain.
At the core of the property you’ll find the grand salon, leading through to a vast covered terrace.
The dining hall seats 14 guests and is complemented by a state-of-the-art 60 sqm show kitchen, a high-end service kitchen and an alfresco barbecue area.

In terms of sleeping arrangements, the main floor houses four 140-sqm suites, while the remaining eight suites are on the upper floor.
On the lower level, a five-star spa beckons. It’s kitted out with an indoor heated swimming pool, traditional hammam, Finnish sauna, gym, massage room – and a hairdressing and manicure salon.
And getting bored is not an option here. Entertainment offerings include a billiards lounge, a bar, a professional double bowling alley and a cinema for 22 guests.
Smart technology is found around the home, including an integrated Sonos sound system, and smart lighting.
