Airbnb reveals the top trending summer hotspots for under 30s (and amazing rentals in each place)

From a sunny Sicilian city to a beautiful state in southeast Australia, these are Airbnb’s top five trending summer destinations for Britons aged under 30.

To draw up the ranking the rental platform identified the places that had seen the most year-on-year growth in nights booked among guests aged 18 to 29, comparing 2022 and 2021.

Airbnb also pooled together the most wish-listed properties for under £100 a night in each of these destinations – among the rentals, there’s a romantic room in a Moroccan riad and an Australian ‘eco-haven’ in an area that has ‘resident koalas’.
