What I would recommend doing in Kyoto:
– Live near Gion Area
– Arashiyama Bamboo Forest
– Arashiyama Monkey Park
– Tenryu-ji temple
– Yasaka Pagoda (Hokanji Temple)
– Fushimi Inari Shrine
– Just walking through the city and explore!
– Rent a kimono
