This is bizarre moment an 11-foot alligator is seen strapped to the back of an SUV driving down an interstate in Florida over the Labor Day weekend.
The unusual sight was caught on camera by a fellow driver who believed the gator to have been hunted.
‘Spotted on I-95 yesterday. Obviously, this is in Floriduh,’ the online caption read.
The person who posted the picture taken on the I-95 in Brevard County said there appeared to be blood coming from the gator’s tail end.

‘It was definitely real. Some blood around the base of the tail. I have to assume it was legally hunted,’ Karen Kress told WESH.
Brevard County includes Cape Canaveral and the Canaveral National Seashore.
The massive gator was tied up from top to tail with rope wrapped around the reptile’s head, body, and tail. Straps secured the reptile to the rear of the Chevy SUV.
One person noted how the alligator was harvested during Florida’s alligator hunting season.
‘You can see the yellow gator ‘tag’ fastened to his tail,’ a poster commented.
Alligator season runs until November in the state with a permit required to hunt gators.
More than 7,900 alligators were harvested during last year’s hunting season, according to the most recent data from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conversation Commission.
About 5,000 people apply for just 7,000 permits each year with the gators harvested ranging from nearly three feet to nearly 14 feet in length.
Wildlife experts estimate that 1.3 million alligators of every size live in Florida.
