After traveling Sri Lanka for 2 weeks, I’ve put together this video which outlines what it’s like to travel in Sri Lanka, and offers some tips for traveling Sri Lanka. I summarize the transportation, the hotels and accommodations, what to watch out for, and the overall experience that I had. This is a must-watch if you are planning a trip to Sri Lanka.
Our trip took us from Colombo, along the coast for a short visit to Galle before heading to Mirissa to go whale watching and hangout on the beach. We then went to Tangalle for more of Sri Lanka’s beautiful beaches, and then Tissa for a Yala Safari tour. After that, we headed up to Ella where we did a tour of a local village, and then took the train to Kandy where we hung out for a few days before ending our trip at the beach town probably best known for being close to the airport – Negombo.
