There are some countries that have won the Covid battle, and are now becoming ideal destinations.

The first country we look at is Malta.
Malta is a popular tourist destination, and the good news is that this country appears to have successfully flattened the curve. With only 618 cases, and sadly 10 deaths recorded, at the time of making this video, Malta seems a very attractive and low risk destination soon after lockdown.
Whether you love the ocean experience, or diving into rich cultural attractions, The medieval charm, cathedrals, palaces and archeological gems promises tourists a wealth of enjoyment.
Popeye Village, also known as Sweethaven Village, is a film set built for the 1980 musical production, Popeye. It has now been converted into a small attraction fun park.
If you enjoy the ocean, Blue Lagoon in Comino, is a tropical paradise of crystal-clear turquoise waters. This is one of the most beautiful places in the Maltese Islands.

Mauritius, is a safe destination not to be overlooked
This Indian Ocean island nation, has always been a priority destination. It is known for its beaches, lagoons and reefs, an idyllic destination for the ocean lover.
With only 335 reported cases, and lamentably 10 deaths, Mauritius will become a preferred consideration for that much needed holiday.
The awesome beaches and world class sea-side accommodation, offer the ideal setting for scuba diving, snorkeling, or just a peaceful relaxing time on the beach.
The resorts are well organised and offer supplementary activities like sea cruises, golf, guided tours and more.
The Mauritian authorities responded timeously to the COVID-19 pandemic with stringent lockdown measures. This caused a drastic reduction in new cases and laid the foundation for making Mauritius an ideal destination following covid-19.

And then there is Montenegro.
At the time of making this video, it is said that Montenegro is Covid-19 free, a statement every country wishes it could make.
Montenegro’s stunning natural beauty, and diverse history make it a fascinating and worthwhile place to explore. From 15th century villages to 2500 year old towns, medieval villages and awesome nature, the wonder you find in this south-east european country is endless.

A total of 324 cases, and 9 deaths were reported, and the last case was recorded on 6 May 2020.
Although Montenegro is only 100km from top to bottom, ancient towns, and orange roof houses will keep you spellbound throughout your visit to this country. This beautiful city is a must for travellers looking for that safe haven after covid-19.

The fourth country in our list of ideal destinations after lockdown is the Bahamas. Officially known as the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, it is situated within the Lucayan Archipelago in the West Indies. Made up of 700 islands, and 2000 rocks and cays, this is as close as you will get to aquatic perfection.
The Bahamas had a total of 101 Covid cases, and 11 deaths at the time of making this video. At present there are only 43 active cases, which makes the bahamas an ideal choice for that much needed holiday.
If you have ever dreamed of that perfect beach with crystal waters, you’ve probably dreamt of the Bahamas. Only 80km from the Florida coast, these beautiful islands are sometimes known as the playground for the rich.
The Bahamas deserves to be on your short list for that safe haven you need post Covid-19.

Turning our focus to the western hemisphere, Belize, is a Caribbean country, located on the eastern coast of Central America, with beautiful shorelines, and dense jungle to the west.
Belize last reported a covid case on 15 April 2020, and only 2 deaths in total. Presently Belize is free from the Covid pandemic.
The massive Belize Barrier Reef, amidst hundreds of low-lying islands called cayes, is home to abundant marine life.
