In this video, I’m exploring the Golubac Fortress of Serbia with my friends Sergey Moringevich, Veronica, Sergey Gurin and Winning! This video is a part of my Serbia vlogs. I went to Serbia last year (in 2019). Golubac Fortress is the most beautiful place that I visited in whole Serbia. A must visit place if you are in Serbia. We went to the fortress by car on a day trip from Belgrade. It was a sudden trip and we enjoyed the trip to the fullest. A great day in Serbia to be remembered in my life.
According to Wikipedia – ‘The Golubac Fortress was a medieval fortified town on the south side of the Danube River, downstream from the modern-day town of Golubac, Serbia. According the recent discoveries, the fortress, which was built during the 14th century by Medieval Serbian state, is split into three compounds which were built in stages. It has ten towers, most of which started square, and several of which received many-sided reinforcements with the advent of firearms. Towers were not connected for easier defense. Also inside the fortress were found Serbian Medieval frescos.’
