In this video you’re going learn a few of my travel hacks and tips for visiting one of my favorite places on earth: Big Sur, CA!
With that, here’s what you can expect from the video:
#1: First, you will learn and witness that yes “I too” have major concerns about camping; especially solo camping. You witness me discuss some of my worst camping fears! More importantly, you will witness my need to recharge, connect with nature, and restore superseded my fears of camping.
#2: You will learn and witness the breath-taking beauty of the Big Sur, Area. Big Sur, is home to some of the worlds greatest natural attractions such as the Bixby Bridge and the beautiful Redwoods Forest. Located right off the Pacific Coast Highway you will find few places in the world that can rival what Big Sur has to offer. There is something here for everyone.
#3: A getaway to Big Sur does not have to be expensive. I stayed at the Ventana Campground for $80/per night! Better yet, there plenty areas where you can even camp for free! I Brought all of my food with me so I did not spend any money at the local restaurants (although I though recommend it if you can swing it). For $80/per night I have to say this was the cleanest campground I have been too thus far.
They do have bathrooms in the campground and I have to say I was absolutely shocked how well kept and nice they were.
All of my activities were absolutely free! I got caught up on books I wanted to read, I meditated, and took some much needed naps on the beach!
In summary, you have plenty reasons to visit this beautiful place! More importantly, you now have priceless travel hacks on how to make your trip to the beautiful Big Sur feasible without sacrificing your experience. Whether you are looking to camp, stay at one of the areas many luxury resorts, or drive through Big Sur is must visit!
