One of my favorite things about this place is that it’s not overcrowded, so it’s easy to unplug and enjoy nature. So much of the land is protected, and it hasn’t been taken over by big companies or hotel chains. Sometimes you can drive past 2 or 3 beaches and not see any other people. I love all of the seafood and great eating options on the island because the food is so fresh. If you’re a friendly person, you definitely won’t meet a stranger when running into the locals.
