It has a delightful texture, the brie baguette made me think I was in Paris due to the soft and chewy goodness.
However, the cranberry presence was lacking, seemingly vanishing halfway through the baguette.

This wrap was delicious. I initially feared that it might be a bit bland, but it was the complete opposite. The spiced flavours worked really well and gave it a curried taste.

It’s hard to go wrong when you combine, turkey, stuffing, bacon and cranberry sauce, and this sandwich nailed the brief.
It had the right ratio of ingredients, to let every element enjoy its time in the spotlight. The biggest shock was the turkey – a meat that is famous for its dryness, I was actually pleasantly surprised that it was sufficiently moist.
If I had one criticism it would be that the stuffing wasn’t the most flavoursome compared to others I’ve tried, which does let the sarnie down a tad – Millie Veitch

This was a delicious festive sandwich. With turkey, maple bacon, cranberry sauce and pork, sage and onion stuffing, it had all the staple aspects you’d want in a Christmas sandwich.

In my opinion, you can’t beat a toastie for lunch on a cold winter day – the only thing that can make it better is adding a festive touch. Thankfully, Costa has it covered with this absolute winner of a toastie.
Inside the ‘Pigs and Blankets Toastie’ was the classic bacon-wrapped pork sausage along with caramelised onion chutney in garlic, onion and sage crumbed cheese-topped bread.
Without too much going on, simplicity is key and the combination of flavours was delicious.
Pleasantly surprised with how nice this was, I would definitely reach for this toastie again.
However, the only thing I would say is that it could do with a little more cheese inside as it was slightly lacking in this department. – Ffion Haf

I really enjoyed the soft rye bread and the capers which added a nice salty tang to the sandwich. It had a good amount of smoked salmon and the spinach and dill gave some freshness.
My only critique is that there was slightly too much creme fraiche which made eating it messier than I would have liked. Overall a very satisfying sandwich that didn’t have any unwanted fishy aftertaste. – Olivia Day

For me, this is the definition of a perfect festive lunch that isn’t just your basic leftover turkey sandwich.
Surprisingly, the one slice of thick, juicy honey ham was more than enough. It was perfectly balanced out by the Wensleydale crumb.
It truly felt like you were at the dinner table tucking into your Boxing Day cheese board and leftover meats.
My only complaint is that the ciabatta is a little dry. I think swapping out the cranberries in the bread for a cranberry sauce would have made this toastie the perfect treat. – Chloe Louise

The dark rye bread was beautifully soft and moist. It contained a deep layered filling of crunchy sauerkraut, offering a welcome contrast to the currywurst-style sausages and cheese base.

Costa Turkey and Trimmings Toastie
This turkey toastie contains some of the key elements of a scrumptious traditional Christmas dinner such as maple bacon, béchamel sauce, sage and onion stuffing and cranberry sauce on cheese topped bread.
Upon the first bite, I was hit with a mouthful of succulent Turkey meat along with the fruitiness of the cranberry sauce. My favourite part of the sandwich was the sage and onion stuffing element – which tied the festive-themed sandwich together – and they did not scrimp on the filling.
Whilst there was a lot of maple bacon in my sandwich, I could not taste it over the other overpowering flavours – perhaps it was the weakest link.
I also could not get all the layers of flavour at the same time. One minute it was a mouthful of stuffing, the next, turkey. It would have been good to have them evenly spread out so I could experience them together – Gina Kalsi

The highlight of the toastie for me was definitely the mushroom stuffing, it added a nice flavour to the mix. However, I think there was just a bit too much going on for me.
I found the texture a bit too soggy with all of the elements, though this could be because I toasted mine at home. I’d say it’s a nice purchase as a one-off treat, but I’d go for something a bit simpler in the future – Alanah Kholsa

It’s a very particular taste that I don’t think would be universally liked, and I personally would have preferred it without the bacon. It was otherwise a well-packed festive sandwich, but the smoked bacon let it down for me. I don’t think this will be one for everyone this Christmas. – Kate Dennett
