✈️ Travel Tips for the Airplane (from a pilot’s wife):
1. After you sit, get your in-flight essentials organized and in the seat back pocket…just to make it more convenient for you as a passenger.
2. Wear shoes into the lavatory because we are 99% sure the floor never gets disinfected.
3. Not all pilots are confident to speak in front of people so you may not hear much from them unfortunately.
4. Flight attendants are appreciative when passengers use asking phrases instead of declarative statements. For example, “Could I have a water with no ice please?” is a courteous alternative way to say, “I need one water; no ice.”
5. The first officer (co-pilot) may be the pilot who lands the airplane. They take turns.
