Visiting Thailand has always been on my bucket list.

But, I have honestly never thought of Thailand as a luxury vacation destination however, thanks to my recent trip with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (@AmazingThailandSouthAfrica), I was pleasantly surprised! Follow me as I take you on a wonderful journey which includes luxury accommodation, food experiences and local activities. Curate your trip and give it the luxe vibes you deserve!

Having the opportunity to stay at the luxury Keemala resort really was beyond enchanting. The villas, all with private pools, are almost woven into the tropical rainforest surrounds thanks to the incredible architecture. This upscale retreat resort has everything one needs to escape and relax. Private villas, pools, spa, delicious wholesome cuisine & wellness retreats. Everything 5 star honey! I absolutely loved the resort it was a giving luxury, relaxation and nature. It really gave me a glimpse into the Thai culture, the service was exceptional, as it was throughout my Thailand trip. I was really excited to kick back and relax in my villa, be submerged in the pool and their room service was so quick, impressive! We did a walking food tour around Old Phuket Town and got to try a lot of local food at the market, the food in Thailand by the way is just amazing and I am a picky eater. We also visited the Big Buddha in Phuket. The experience was just sensational and I consider myself a spiritual person so it was everything to me. This sitting Buddha is 45m tall and is covered in white marble. Really a pleasure to see. Another highlight was our very special visit to the Phuket elephant sanctuary, I tried to capture the essence of the sanctuary but may have struggled a little bit. They do amazing work here and it is the 1st ethical elephant sanctuary in Phuket. It is also home to Thailand’s longest canopy walkway, which makes for a very picturesque experience. You get to feed the rescued elephants, but no rides or shows! You get to walk both on the ground and on the canopy to find the elephants. All the elephants look happy & well taken care of. I loved it. After your tour you get to enjoy a Thai buffet in a stunning setting. The food was amazing & the energy at the sanctuary calming and peaceful. The experience was magical, the staff were incredible too. Highly recommend the half day tour, it’s worth it.
