Vaccinated travelers planning to visit Bermuda can soon skip a mandated quarantine period and post-arrival testing.

The island is set to update its entry requirements for fully vaccinated travelers (those who have completed a one- or two-dose series at least 14 days before travel) on March 7. There are no updates for unvaccinated travelers 18 and older, who have been denied entry since December.

Under the new entry requirements, vaccine requirements will extend to visitors between the ages of 12 and 18, according to Bermuda Tourism Authority spokesperson Amy Moynihan. Unvaccinated children 11 and younger will be allowed entry if traveling with a fully vaccinated guardian.

Pre-arrival testing requirements will remain in place for visitors 2 and older, with the island requiring a negative PCR or antigen test taken no more than two days before departure. Once in Bermuda, no additional testing will no longer be required.
