Is it safe to travel to Colombia? That’s one of the questions I’ve been asked quite a bit over the past year as I’ve traveled around and enjoyed Beautiful Colombia. In this video I lay it out from my perspective as well as offer up some tips and experiences from my travels.
Highlights include taxis in Colombia, personal safety, what to do and what not to do in Colombia, ubers in Colombia and my most dangerous experiences in Colombia! Hint: not what you would expect.
The key takeaways are to enjoy this beautiful place. History and embassy websites may scare you away from travel to Colombia, but the country and its people are some of the most welcoming in the world and the country itself is beautiful with so much to offer in the way of tourism.
But you do gotta be careful, just like you do anywhere else in the world!
