Grab the pumpkin spice and unpack your scarves – fall is on the way. In order to prepare, 10Best is looking for the best fall activities, fall destinations and haunted hotels and attractions. We invited a panel of family and travel experts to select 20 nominees in each category, and now we need your help to select the 10 best.
Vote for your favorite in each category once per day until voting ends on Monday, September 12 at noon ET. Winners will be announced on Friday, September 23.

The United States’ first apple orchard was planted in 1625 near Boston’s Beacon Hill. Today, there are over 5,000 growers producing apples across the country, according to the U.S. Apple Association. That’s 240 million bushels of apples each year! To help with the harvest, many orchards open their gates for visitors to come and pick their own, often with added autumn entertainment.
