This is what its like traveling in 2021 from Japan to America. Japan is still very much closed at the moment to travel however I was able to leave as long as I got a negative c. test there were some flights leaving japan. When I left tokyo was still under a state of emergency and still without vaccinations.it will be some time before they open back up if I had to guess id say not until 2022. maybe November but I’m not sure. HOWEVER California is on a roll! The airport was super fast. the state is declaring no more masks soon as well. if you’re going to travel right now id say just have a loose schedule and a backup plan. make sure you have insurance for everything.
