You can stay in Grinch’s cave for Christmas – and it comes complete with organ and Whoville snacks 

If you’re a fan of the Grinch, we’ve got great news for you – you can now stay in the grouchy creature’s cave this festive season.

It will most-likely require a flight across the country though, with the festive getaway located in a remote cave, high up a mountain, in Boulder, Utah.

The Grinch was a book written by Dr. Seuss about a grumpy monster who hated Christmas.

The Grinch was a book written by Dr. Seuss about a grumpy monster who hated Christmas. He lived in a cave with his dog Max outside of the happy and festive fictional town of Whoville

The book came out in 1957. It was turned into a movie in 2000 and remade in 2018

Now, you can step inside the world of Dr. Seuss yourself – for less than $20 a night

The home is designed to look just like the Grinch’s, and it even has a recreation of the famous music room – complete with the Grinch’s organ and dog Max’s drum set

Open up the cupboard and you’ll find a few pairs of his famous green furry pants, as well as a red robe with the letter ‘G’ engraved in the chest

Elsewhere in the home are pairs of green fuzzy socks – so that families can dress up as the monster if they choose

Prepare to be completely immersed into the children’s book

But after the Whos decided to make Christmas even bigger and brighter this year, the Grinch tried to pose as Santa Claus and ruin the holiday once and for all.

Inside the 5,700-square-foot lair, guests can explore a myriad of rooms, all with a nod to the iconic green character’s original home.

Outside, there are signs that say, ‘Danger,’ and, ‘Leave now,’ to really add to the Grinch-like atmosphere

Meanwhile in the kitchen, you’ll find lots of Whoville-inspired snacks including roast beast, Who-pudding and Who-hash

A glass wall sits at the front of the cave, so guests can look out and see the beautiful views of Utah

There’s also a main bedroom, a guest bedroom, a study, and several bathrooms, which are all also filled with items from the movie. 

Meanwhile in the kitchen, you’ll find lots of Whoville-inspired snacks including roast beast, Who-pudding and Who-hash.

Guests can also rummage throughout the house to find an array of Grinch gadgets, including his over-the-top coffee machine and other Who-contraptions.

In the story, the Grinch dressed up as Santa Claus in an attempt to ruin Christmas. He sewed his own Christmas outfit, and inside the house there is a sewing area that looks just like the one in the movie

The rocky residence, hand-carved on the side of a massive stone mountain, will be available to rent between December 13-23

The festive space has been launched by U.S. home rental platform Vacasa in partnership with Dr Seuss Enterprises
