A huge cloud shaped like an eagle hovered over a mountain on the Isle of Arran.
Kirstie Smith, 39, captured the cloud over North Goatfell, on the Isle of Arran, North Ayrshire, while she was walking her seven-year-old Border Collie, Caileag, on Monday.
Postwoman Kirstie hiked an hour and a half up the hill before seeing the clouds start to form into an eagle – and quickly pictured it on her iPhone.

Kirstie, from the Isle of Arran, said: ‘I hiked up this morning with my dog before it got too hot.
‘I was just lying on the grass in the sunshine watching the clouds.
‘It wasn’t formed to begin with but as it did, I thought that looks like the perfect eagle.
‘I saw the legs and beak come together.
‘It was so lucky – I just couldn’t believe it.
‘It was weird, all the other clouds were moving but this one was completely stationary.
‘I just took the picture on my iPhone so it wasn’t anything fancy photography wise but I was just lucky at that time to see it.’
