Every frequent flyer knows the struggle of tossing and turning in a reclined plane seat, trying to find a decent sleeping position and blocking out the endless background noise with earbuds.
Indeed, while sleeping on a plane is rarely comfortable, a new hotel concept in Malaysia might be set to change everything.
Located in Kempas, Johor Bahru, 1975 Avenue & Hotel has converted two Boeing 747s named Bove and Bey into luxurious suites to stay in.
Guests are promised ‘one-of-a-kind accommodation experiences’, with each room carefully curated with the original structure of the aircraft in mind.
There are 18 ‘uniquely themed’ suites to choose from, each decorated in the style of a different country – from Japan to Morocco.
The suites range in size and style, but all boast an ensuite bathroom, plush bedding, as well as Wi-Fi and ‘curated amenities’.
Spread across two floors, the Premium Suite has curved ceilings to mimic those on a plane, and is elegantly decorated.

Each suite sleeps up to three people and ranges from 1,706 RM (£312.50) to 2786 RM (£510.40) per night in September, depending on the choice of room, according to Euronews.
Guests also have access to a range of jaw-dropping amenities across the rest of the hotel once they step off the plane.
From a man-made beach pool to a playscape water park, there are plenty of fun facilities to enjoy, as well as a spa and gym.
The dining options won’t disappoint either. Hanareya is a Japanese fine dining restaurant, while Paulaner Biergarten serves up authentic Bavarian cuisine.
Meanwhile, Mirage is a relaxed pool bar located by the beach pool area.
For travellers who don’t fancy sleeping on a plane, the hotel has 20 more conventional style rooms to choose from too.
1975 Avenue & Hotel describes itself as the ‘best boutique hotel near Larkin and Kempas’.
Danga Bay, a waterfront recreational park that boasts a theme park, beach and shopping centre, is less than 20 minutes away by car.

Legoland Malaysia is also only a 25-minute drive from the hotel, making it the perfect stop for families and Lego fans.
The unique accommodation is just a short 20-minute drive from Senai International Airport.
