The big three Aussie airlines have announced massive Boxing Day sales for dozens of domestic and international routes.
Hundreds of thousands of seats can be booked by savvy fliers with Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin on popular flightpaths during the limited-time sales which started on Thursday and last until the seats are sold.
Virgin Australia are the only one of the rival airlines to offer the cheaper fares on international routes – with flights to New Zealand, Fiji, Vanuatu, Bali and Samoa getting the end-of-year sale treatment.
A number of domestic routes to tourist hot spots are also on sale with the airline such as Hamilton Island, Byron Bay and the Whitsundays.
Virgin Australia Executive, Libby Minogue, said the Boxing Day sale offers are an ‘unmissable chance’ to save while travelling in the new year.
‘Boxing Day is synonymous with deals – and for Virgin Australia, it’s about giving our customers the freedom to explore more of Australia and beyond for less,’ Ms Minogue said in a statement.
‘Whether it’s a long-awaited reunion, a dream holiday, or a spontaneous getaway, these deals won’t last long, so we encourage travellers to book quickly before they’re gone.’
Discounted Virgin flights are available between January 6 and September 18 on Economy Lite and is available until 11:59pm AEST on December 29 or until fares have sold out.
