Make it Makiling! is an annual visitor management program spearheaded by the University of the Philippines Los Baños Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems. Together with Los Baños, Bay, Calamba City, and Sto Tomas City local governments, private corporation partners, civic groups, students, and individual volunteers, Make it Makiling! ensures smooth visitor management during MMFR’s Lenten peak season with special focus on educating the public about the importance of nature conservation.
In this episode, Jelai travels to Mount Makiling Forest Reserve and experiences the Make it Makiling! entry protocols which include briefing, electronic visitor login, inspection, and payment of entry fees.
