Maui Travel Guide| Traveling during a Pandemic| Things to do| Food, Culture and Fun

Hey what’s up guys? I’m back at it again!!! This time in beautiful Maui, Hawaii!! My girl Mae and I took a quick end of 2020 trip because… WE DESERVED IT! haha Our trip was phenomenal! And I hope that shows in the video!

First, I want to share some valuable information as it pertains to actually being able to enter Hawaii:

You MUST take a covid-19 test (by a Hawaii authorized facility) BEFORE coming to the state of Hawaii. You can visit travel.hawaii.gov or hawaiicovid19.com for a complete list of acceptable testing sites… Walgreens, CVS Health, Costco/AZOVA are a few I can think of off the top of my head.

We experienced a lot of cool adventures while in Maui, one including attending a Luau, which we thought was dope! We booked it through GetYourGuide.com. It was a bit pricey in my opinion ($200 per person) but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We also went whale watching which was pretty cool too! We booked it at PacificWhale.org for about $45. On our “Road to Hana” drive we didn’t have a clue where to stop or what to do so we downloaded the most helpful/perfect app from Gypsyguide.com. It offered turn by turn directions and even gave helpful suggestions on where to go. We wouldn’t have enjoyed the journey without it. I highly recommend buying it!

We wanted to rent a Jeep truck just so we could ride around in the open and smell the fresh ocean water! Plus who doesn’t love a Jeep?! We looked on many websites but settled on Turo.com. They offered the best rate and even gave a military discount!! We also searched high and low for the perfect place to lodge and settled on an apartment (found on airbnb) in a great location with plenty of space & amenities. Here is the link to the exact place we stayed.

Though short-lived, Maui was incredible. The Hawaiian government takes Covid-19 seriously and has a lot of preventative measures in place to protect it’s citizens. Many establishments close early but there’s still plenty to do and see. Many restaurants and bars are still open for business.

I really hope you all enjoyed this video. I have a lot of major plans and things coming this year of 2021 and I can’t wait to share it with you guys!!!
