Not lying I packed a backpack, and a carry on for my 2 week trip to Asia for myself, my husband, and my 6 month old. This is how I did it.

1. Packing cubes/ziplock bags/organizing system.
This helps you stay compact and organized making using your luggage easier.
.
.
.
2. Toiletry bag that unfolds and hangs.
This allows for better organization and use especially on travel days.
.
.
.
3. High quality backpack with different pockets. I’ve had my north face backpack for over 5 years and it’s still going strong.
.
.
.
4. I used a hydration pouch over a water bottle this trip and I will never look back. I would just hang it in my laptop holding section of my backpack and have it empty on travel days (can’t take water through TSA)
.
.
.
5. Skip the soft suitcases. You need one with a hard shell. Trust me! If you like a suitcase that can be squished then get a hard shell with an expansion zipper.
.
.
.
6. Please stop buying suitcases with only 2 wheels!! 4 wheel rolling bags are the way to go!
